Victoria’s Secret to Open Hawai‘i’s First Flagship Store at Ala Moana Center
Ala Moana Center, the world’s largest outdoor shopping center, prepares to host the world’s sexiest retailer
HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I – Just weeks after the grand opening of some of Hawai‘i’s most highly anticipated and sought after national retailers – including Nordstrom, J.Crew and Chico’s – Ala Moana Center announced today that it has secured a deal to become home to the state’s first flagship Victoria’s Secret store slated to open in Fall 2009.
The new Victoria's Secret store will be situated on the Mall Level of Ala Moana Center in a prime 20,000 square foot location. It will carry a full-line of its modern, fashion-inspired collections, PINK and Sexy Little Things merchandise, loungewear, sleepwear, intimate apparel, and VS beauty line of prestige fragrances and cosmetics.
“This landmark announcement for Ala Moana Center and General Growth Properties brings yet another one of our customers’ top requested stores to the Hawai‘i market,” said Sharon James, regional vice president of marketing for General Growth Properties of Hawaii. “They’ve been on our wish list for nearly a decade, and we’re excited to bring this retailer to the islands as many of our customers are very familiar with the powerful world-famous brand associated with the Victoria’s Secret name.”
