ALA MOANA CENTER ADDS NEW STORES TO
DIVERSE RETAIL LINEUP
HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I – Ala Moana Center announced today the recent addition of three permanent retailers, three seasonal stores, plans for two more new retailers, and the relocation of two current tenants in coming months. Most are already open or will open just in time for the holiday shopping season.
“By adding to and diversifying our mix of national and international retailers, our guests will continue to have exciting new options in shopping, dining and entertainment,” said Sharon James, regional vice president of marketing for Hawai‘i region of General Growth Properties, Inc.
Recently Opened
Miki House – Located Mall Level Two, New Wing, next to Club Monaco
Miki House, a top-selling Japanese brand, recently opened its first stand-alone store in the United States at Ala Moana Center, offering an extensive selection of high-end, stylish children’s clothing. Miki House carries apparel for children of all ages, and is also known for its variety of accessories including shoes, bags, children’s books, and educational toys. The 1,035-square-foot Miki House opened on November 1.
Spiral Girl– Located Level Three, next to Forever 21
Spiral Girl, a casual luxury brand from Japan, specializes in young and adult women’s apparel and also collaborates with Maxi Hawaiian Jewelry, offering shoppers their own and modern designs. Spiral Girl’s 902-square-foot store opened in September 2008.
Nestle Toll House Café – Located Street Level One, near Lupicia Tea
Tempting shoppers with a sweet tooth or caffeine craving, Nestle Café offers a variety of delicious desserts including cookies, cookie cakes, brownies, ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, and a full line of hot and frozen coffee beverages. The 701-square-foot Nestle Toll House Café opened in October 2008.

Artlines – Located Mall Level Two, by Quiznos Sub
Specializing in one-of-a-kind jewelry and gifts for the home from around the world, Artlines is open now through December 31, 2008.
Holiday Lane by Macy’s– Located Mall Level Two, next to Guess
Macy’s special Holiday Lane store is a convenient one-stop shop for a great selection of holiday ornaments, gift wrap and more. It is open now through December 2008.
The Seasonal Store and More – Located Street Level, by McDonald’s
Offering great discounts on a wide variety of Christmas decorations, party supplies, and more, The Seasonal Store is currently open with no set closing date.

Michael Kors – Located Mall Level Two, next to Cartier
Well-known American designer Michael Kors, star of the popular “Project Runway” show, will debut his first stand-alone store in Hawai‘i at Ala Moana Center. The new store will feature a wide array of Kors’ luxury accessories, fragrances, ready-to-wear items, signature men’s and women’s sportswear, and more. Michael Kors’ 2,871-square-foot location is slated to open in Summer 2009.
Miu Miu – Located Level Three, next to Emporio Armani
Miu Miu will join Ala Moana Center's esteemed collection of luxury merchants and become the brand’s first Hawai‘i location when its new 3,752-square-foot store opens in Spring 2009. Miu Miu, Prada’s sister brand, is known for its feminine, sophisticated and fashion-forward designs.
Tenants Relocating
Prada – Located Mall Level Two, next to Chanel
Prada, which previously occupied stores on two levels, is transitioning to a brand new and improved one-level location where it will continue to offer signature high-quality bags, shoes and ready-to-wear collections. Prada’s new 3,547-square-foot space is scheduled to open in November 2008.
Salvatore Ferragamo – Located Mall Level Two, next to Ben Bridge Jeweler
Salvatore Ferragamo, currently located next to Cartier on the Mall Level, will be moving to its brand new 2,871-square-foot store in February 2009. The luxury Italian retailer offers sophisticated shoes, handbags, scarves, belts, and a ready-to-wear collection.
