Ala Moana Center Moonlight Mele Concert Series Presented in September as part of Aloha Festivals' Events
Five Saturdays of Hawaiian entertainment and shopping specials to delight customers
HONOLULU - In celebration of Aloha Festivals 2007, Ala Moana Center will present its first annual "Ala Moana Center Moonlight Mele Concert Series" each Saturday in September at Centerstage from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This five week evening concert series is free and open to the public and will feature Hawaii's best entertainers including Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning artists and some of the islands' most renowned halau.
Raiatea Helm, Nathan Aweau, Koa'uka, Auntie Genoa Keawe, Keahiwai and Kapena are just some of Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning acts that will be featured throughout the concert series.

Saturday, Setpember 1: Raiatea Helm, Nathan Aweau and Halau I Ka Wekiu - Kumu Halau Karl Baker & Michael Casupang
Saturday, September 8: Koa'uka, Na Kama and Halau Hula Olana - Kumu Hula Olana and Howard Ai
Saturday, September 15: Auntie Genoa Keawe, Hoku Zuttermeister and Halau Hula O Kawailiula - Kumu Hula Chinky Mahoe
Saturday, Septemver 22: Keahiwai, Beach 5 and Halau Na Mamo O Pu'uanahulu - Kumu Hula Sonny Ching
Saturday, September 29: Kapena, Maunalua and Ka Pa Hula O Ka Lei Lehua - Kumu Hula Snowbird Bento
In addition to the concert and hula performances, Ala Moana Center will also present its "Moonlight Savings" sales event with special savings for shoppers at participating stores throughout the mall from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Saturday evening. Customers will be able to shop and dine amidst the music and the tropical outdoor scenery of Ala Moana Center - presenting a truly unique Hawaiian experience.
In addition, customers who present their Aloha Festivals ribbon while visiting the Center will also receive a complimentary special eidtion Ala Moana Center shopping bag with art created by renowned Kaua'i artist Bridgette D'Annibale. Redemptions are limited to one shopping bag, per person throughout September and supply is limited. Aloha Festivals ribbons will also be sold throughout the festival's period at Ala Moana's Customer Service Center, located on the Street Level near Centerstage.
